Terms & refunds

Last updated 6 August 2026

Short, and in plain words. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you buy.

What we do

You upload a photograph, we repair the damage to it using AI, and you download the restored copy at full size. The before-and-after examples on our home page are real, unretouched output from the same process your photograph goes through.

Credits

You buy credits, and one credit restores one photograph. Credits do not expire and there is no subscription — nothing recurring, nothing to cancel. Credits are held against your email address, so use the same one each time.

If a restoration isn’t right

Tell us and we will redo it, at no cost and as many times as it takes to get it right. If we still cannot produce something you are happy with, we will refund that credit. What we do not offer is change-of-mind refunds on unused credits, because each restoration is produced to order and delivered immediately.

If a restoration has changed someone’s face, or otherwise isn’t what we described, that is a different matter and we want to hear about it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, including the right to a remedy where a service is not of acceptable quality. We cannot exclude those rights and we do not try to.

Your photographs remain yours

You keep all rights in both your original photograph and the restored version. We claim no ownership and no licence to use them, beyond producing your restoration. See our privacy page for the detail.

What you promise us

That you have the right to upload the photograph — that it is yours, or your family’s, or that you otherwise have permission. Please do not upload anything unlawful, or images of anyone who would object.

What AI restoration can and cannot do

Most damage that looks permanent is repairable, but results vary with the condition of the original. AI reconstructs damaged areas rather than recovering detail that was never captured, so a restoration is an interpretation of what was lost, not a recovery of it. We instruct the models never to alter a person’s face, age or appearance, and we check for it — but if you spot it, that is a redo or a refund.

Things we cannot promise

That the service will never be unavailable, or that every restoration will please you. Where something does go wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us, except where the law does not allow that limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
