Your photographs are the most personal thing you could send us. This page says plainly what happens to them.

What we collect

The photographs you upload, your email address, and the record of what you have bought. That is all. We do not ask for your name, address, date of birth or telephone number, and we have no use for them.

We never see your card details. Payments are handled entirely by Stripe, who send us only a confirmation that a payment succeeded.

What happens to your photographs

A photograph you upload is sent to our restoration provider, fal.ai, which runs the AI models that repair it, and the restored file is returned to you. That is the only purpose it is used for.

Your photographs are never sold, never shared with anyone else, never published, and never used to train AI models — neither ours nor anyone else’s. We do not use them as examples on this website unless you have specifically given us permission.

How long we keep them

Uploaded and restored files are held only as long as needed to deliver your restoration and let you download it again, and are deleted within 30 days. Your email address and credit balance are kept while your account has unused credits, because that is the only way we can know they are yours.

Deleting your photographs

Email us and we will delete everything we hold about you, including every photograph, and confirm when it is done. You do not need to give a reason, and it will not cost you your unused credits.

Who else is involved

We use a small number of providers to run the service, and each sees only what it needs to: fal.ai processes the restoration, Stripe handles payment, Supabase stores your email and credit balance, and Vercel hosts the website. Some are outside Australia, which means your photograph may be processed overseas.

AI, and what it means

Restoration is performed by AI models rather than by a person retouching by hand. The models are instructed to repair damage without altering anyone’s face or appearance, but AI is not perfect. If a result does not look right to you, tell us and we will redo it or refund it.

Cookies

We use only what is needed to make the site work. If we later add analytics or advertising measurement, this page will say so before it happens.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. If you are in the UK or EU you have these rights under the GDPR; in Australia, under the Privacy Act. Either way, ask and we will do it.

Contact

Email us and a real person will reply. Complaints go to the same address, and if you are not satisfied you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
